The Valencia Express is an all volunteer, nonprofit youth hockey organization based in Santa Clarita. The Express consists of Express travel teams and they compete against other youth hockey clubs on a regional and national level.

Ice hockey is a fast paced, thrilling sport and many talented youth in Southern California have fallen in love with the game. Unfortunately, youth ice hockey does not receive the financial support provided by public agencies for that other sports receive.

Although Southern California has witnessed the construction and/or renovation of more than a dozen new ice arenas in recent years, ice availability for practice and games is still limited. Virtually all of the ice arenas in Southern California are privately owned. Given the demand for the sport and the limited ice arena venues, the cost of the ice time alone is substantial (generally $325-$425/hr). Unfortunately, such costs mean there are children with promising talent, but limited means who cannot participate.

We welcome financial support from within our community and invite you to help the Express by making a donation or by becoming a sponsor. Through your support, the Valencia Express will be able to offer scholarships to many children, as well as to subsidize the costs of playing youth ice hockey and participating in regional and national tournaments.
